Monson is delighted to announce the acquisition of Meridian Port Agencies, which completed on the 30th of November 2022.

Meridian is an exciting addition to the Monson Group, building on our scale and international network and enhancing our customer service offering.

The acquisition of Meridian will continue to grow Singapore and will expand Monson’s pan-Asian footprint, adding a physical presence in new geographies - Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. Combined with Meridian, Monson will be the leading dry and wet-bulk agent across APAC, covering some of the fastest growing bulk export and import markets – Australia, South East Asia and China.

As part of the acquisition, we welcome our colleagues from Meridian, led by Julie Lim and Donald Toh. We look forward to expanding on the successes both Monson and Meridian have built over the years, underpinned by strong networks, experience and excellent local knowledge and customer support.
